Who is Traxis Energy for?

Traxis Energy is targeted at four categories of organisations and businesses. Not all are from the energy industry which is part of the challenge. Energy efficiency, both for buildings and for local energy systems, is becoming a vital ingredient of both new build and refurbishment which means that local authorities, housing associations, commercial landlords and others have to either become energy specialists themselves or sub contract out the role.

The starting point is potential buyers, that is, organisations that wish to contract for local distributed energy services thereby providing a market. These may be property developers, local authorities, housing associations, commercial landlords etc. Equally this could be initiated by DNOs looking for ways to manage congestion and mitigate the immediate and possibly long term grid strengthening impact of increased adoption of LCTs.

    o community solar and storage and trading between tenants

    but can ill afford the high capital costs.

  • Top level actors who win contracts and procure primary equipment across several projects, e.g.:

    o Smart meter installers/MAPs looking to enhance their proposition and exploit their workforce

    o Solar farm developers looking to diversify
