ZigzagSR is a consultancy that specialises in assessing the delivery capabilities of businesses and operational departments. It has developed a universal process called the Delivery Capability Assessment (DCA). This can be used to benchmark progress, expand on due diligence and to compare the capabilities of collaborating businesses identifying overlaps, strengths and weaknesses to be developed or plugged.

Pallicons provides advisory services to energy corporates and energy start-ups, focussed on business development in the new-energy technology, retail energy and home services sectors. Pallicons also provides “advisory from experience” services to consultancies, and coaching and support to new management teams dealing with growth and innovation.

Carpanini Consulting is run by Laurence Carpanini who has over 30 years experience defining, communicating and deploying smart energy systems and technologies, working at the interface between strategy, organisation change and technology enablement. CC mentors early stage technology start ups and provides board level advisory services to companies impacted by the transition to net zero.

ID4G is run by Laurent Schmitt, ex General Secretary for ENTSO-E. Its purpose is to decarbonise energy systems by developing new digital opensource IOT platforms to accelerate DER integration across the Energy & Transport sectors.

Lars Falch is Chair of The Advisory Council having worked with us over the last 6 months to define and set up Traxis Energy.
Lars has more than 25 years’ experience of establishing numerous innovative companies & businesses in emerging international markets. 8 years in Digital: establishing first digital agency, first online advertising sales network, first video sharing network in the ‘90s. 19 years in Clean Tech: both up and downstream. Establishing a corporate venture fund, developing first e-mobility charging solutions including roaming, mentoring start-ups, managing sustainable cities programs and established the world’s largest energy allocation marketplace for households and businesses.
His professional purpose is to improve life on earth by driving new thinking, technology and the power of partnerships.

Frauke Thies is Head of Climate Advocacy at Open Society Foundations, where she started in January 2021 to work on the systemic challenges and societal dimensions of tackling climate change.
Prior to joining OSF, Frauke was Executive Director of smartEn, the European business association integrating the consumer-driven solutions for the clean energy transition. Focussingon the interaction of demand and supply, the association engages in promoting system efficiency, encourage innovation and diversity, empower energy consumers and drive the decarbonisation of the energy sector.

James is a strategist and systems thinker with a background in sustainable finance. He runs the strategy consultancy Re:Pattern and is the Executive Director of the Climate Safe Lending Network. With over 20 years senior management experience, James designs and facilitates learning, development, strategic and innovation programmes to accelerate progress in sustainability sectors worldwide.
James serves as a member of several advisory groups on sustainable finance at a UK, European and international level such as Triodos Bank, Finance Impact Hub, Club of Rome, Regen, Finance Watch, UNEP FI and the All Party Parliamentary Group on Fair Business Banking and was one of the founding developers of the UN Principles for Responsible Banking launched in 2019. He’s the author of several reports and papers and speaks regularly on the subject of sustainable business and positive impact finance. James is a tutor with the Cambridge Institute for Sustainable Leadership for their Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Business.

Jessica Stromback is CEO of Joule Assets Inc. and a co-founder of smartEn (formerly Smart Energy Demand Coalition) as well as its founding Chief Executive, later Chairman and current Board Member.
Before joining Joule, Jessica served as Chair of VaasaETT. Jessica has been one of the most infuencial driving forces behind the recognition of the demand side, demand response and flexibility in Europe over the past decade.

Laurent Schmitt has been working for the last 25 years in the Automation, IT and Digitisation of the Power Industry. He was the Secretary General of ENTSO-E for the past 4 years and Global Smart Grid Strategy Leader at General Electric Grid Solutions. He founded Digital4Grids in January 2021.
Laurent has worked in Europe, the United States and Asia, on all sectors of the electricity value chain from power generation controls, intro trading and market, Grid management as well as DER integration and Microgrid community.
He has several times been named among the most influential people of the European Smart Grid industry.

Amaury Lamarche is Chief Platform Officer for B2C & Intelligent Home at ENGIE Digital. Over 16 years at ENGIE, Amaury has developed a fomidable breadth of senior experience right accross the energy value chain and in many regions.
With a focus in recent years on innovative projects in the B2C market worldwide, Amaury developed a global software that easily connects to any type of smart energy appliances to build value added services.

Alicia Carrasco is the founder and CEO of olivoENERGY, a European Energy Strategy Consultancy, that focuses on identifying business opportunities and authority’s energy proactive plans coming from energy regulations and innovation.
Alicia was formerly Director Energy Policy at EU Tesla, Director Regulations EMEA digital grid SIEMENS and Director Regulatory Affairs eMeter. She co-founded the Smart Energy Demand Coalition in 2010, which was pivotal in the development of flexibility and market directives in the EU.
In 2018, she co-founded Entra, the association of aggregation and flexibility in Spain.
Alicia took her MCs in Environment and Sustainable Development at UCL in London and her master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration at UMA in Málaga.

Nick South is Director of Strategic initiatives at global consulting engineer Buro Happold, with a key focus on ESG and building compelling cases for decarbonisation.
Prior to this, he established and ran cross-industry groups for CIO Connect, bringing together experts from FTSE 100 and 250 companies to define and share emerging best practice and tackle key challenges.
